Emily Lambert, LCPC
Ms. Lambert is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who specializes in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, depression, and related disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. She has expertise in evidence-based skills, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Ms. Lambert earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Northwestern University. During her training, she gained extensive experience in the application of evidence-based treatments for anxiety and mood disorders. Additionally, she served as an intake specialist for Rogers Behavioral Health, one of the largest specialty behavioral healthcare systems in the country. Thereafter, she spent multiple years providing direct clinical care via individual and group therapy at outpatient anxiety specialty clinics in the Chicagoland area.
Along with her clinical work, Ms. Lambert co-authored "Break Free From Intrusive Thoughts," a book aimed at helping individuals effectively manage intrusive thoughts. She has also provided workshops and presentations on a variety of topics including coping with anxiety while living with cancer and managing performance-related anxiety.
Ms. Lambert’s professional affiliations include the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and the American Counseling Association (ACA).
In addition to her professional work, Ms. Lambert supports the Western Golf Association/Evan Scholar Foundation as a mentor and member of the Chicago Leadership Council.
